Some truly amazing modifactions were preformed to make this car something special. The car was sectioned right down the middle removing 3" from the total height of the car. The engine mounts were modified to relocate the engine several inches rearward. The rear spring mounts were moved toward the centerline of the car to allow canted leaf springs. Just more of what Holman and Moody did to create Challenger III.
